Kentucky Montessori Alliance (KMA) is a community of schools, teachers and families supporting high quality Montessori education in Kentucky. Our goals include to speak with one, united voice, promoting, supporting, and advocating for high quality Montessori education in KY and to work collaboratively in educating the general community of the Montessori philosophy.

We are thankful for the support of many (including Montessori Public Policy Initiative and Montessori Alliance of Tennessee) in getting our organization started!

Our plans include professional development opportunities for Montessorians in KY, advocacy for Montessori alignment with Kentucky’s new QRIS ALL STAR system, and more!

For 100 years, NAEYC has promoted the healthy development and learning of all young children. We have worked to ensure that every child has the foundation they need to thrive—and to help lay the foundations of the profession that deliver on this promise. Today, we speak out because the children we serve are in crisis.
